Actually, it looks like the problem is something else.

All the cfhttp.filecontent variable is returning is 'Connection Failure'.

Thanks for all the help, and sorry I didn't test this part sooner.

Have you tried loading the xml (wddx) file straight into the browser? It has
some built in debugging and error messaging that can help.

Are you crossing CF versions?  From what I remember the WDDX format changed
some between version so that when you serialize something with CF 5 you
can't use it on CFMX.  Not sure if that's it though.
