Kevin- an excellent article, thanks for posting it. There was a very frightening piece in last week's Time or Newsweek (sorry, don't have it here) on Saddam's inner circle of nine psychotically brutal henchmen. Like the Mafia, they supposedly were "made men" who earned their positions of power by carrying out hellish orders. I think anyone who reads one of these articles and isn't outraged has some serious problems of their own.
