All you have to do is own your own domain name and be able to access and change the MX records a bit. For that reason, we can't do it with AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc. because we can't change any MX records.
This is what happens. The mail gets send to our servers were the its processed and filtered. Spam is blocked and regular mail is sent to your mail server. If anyone at all wants to do this, you don't have to move to our mail server.
