It can also go the other way.  In very large companies the standard is
"free can't be good".

CF is sometimes seen as a "prototyping tool" that can't possible compete
with "enterprise" level packages like WebSphere (in the range of $28,000
per server depending on configuration).  Trying to explain the
architecture (that CFMX and Websphere use the same architecture) is
useless.

The other argument is the old "nobody's ever been fired for buying
IBM/Microsft".
