Yeah, for brevity I did not mention the hardware swapping I went through.
Removed all peripherals, changed the graphics card, removed the NIC, pulled
a DIMM I recently added, removed the sound card, messed with the BIOS,
nothing came of that. Right now, it's just a basic machine.

I think the computer is just throwing signs it doesn't like what's going on
with the hard drive.

The IRQ Stop error usually means hardware.

If you have another video card swap them out. Then reboot and install SP3.
You may also want to remove your sound card and reboot. A lot of times you
just need to reseat the cards.

Then run Defrag again, reboot and re-install SP3 again.
