In my opinion we have not ever given trickle down enough time to work.
People are so impatient that if nothing changes overnight they go looking
for the latest idea.  I think the policies put in place by Regan really did
lead to the boom of the 90's.  Hell for me personally the 80's were good.
My dad was a defense contractor and he did really well during that time.
Canada was also rebuilding their air force at the time and we got to live up
their for a while.  I have a hard time arguing the 80's because they were ok
for me.  What was it like for others?
