Medium Double Double (double cream/double sugar) Tim Horton has a cult like following here. Practically on every street corner. De facto the most popular coffee place in Canada. Their coffee is good and cheap (unlike star bucks expensive). They are a popular lunch place also now because of sandwiches/soup. They got bought out by an American Chain - Wendys. Ironically Wendys is losing money but Tim Horton has kept them in the black. Krispy Creme. Well, we have altogether 3 branches in all of Canada so far (maybe 4). People don't like their coffee very much but being Donut Country, they make it part of their pilgrimage from places afar. It is not unusual to see a line extending outside the store. They will remain popular but are not accessible since they only have 1 location per city. He was a hockey player. Died in a car accident. They have a coffee that is high in caffeine and on the dark side (robusta beans i think). Good with cream, sugar and a donut. The Canadian national meal. I can just barely tolerate their coffee. But I admire their business success. They are infiltrating the U.S. as well now, no pun intended. :-) Patrick >-----Original Message----- >From: Haggerty, Mike [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] >Sent: May 29, 2003 12:20 PM >To: CF-Community >Subject: OT: Tim Hortons > > >All this talk about restaurants raised a question in my mind. > >Anybody ever been to a place called Tim Horton's?
