I worked there and on the swing (evening) shift waitresses were responsible 
for 15 tables. Doesnt seem like a lot till you realize that dinner at 
Denny's includes soup or salad and the waitresses make the salads..... But 
yeah :) we sucked and I participated in the sucking :) Glad to hear about 
the secret service thing; the party I was thinking of was mixed male/female 
and looked like maybe somebody's birthday. Guess Denny's settled because it 
was cheaper. Wonder if they hired a couple more waitresses after that, lol. 
In the long run it would have been cheaper to have more staff in the first 
place.
