Hello Michael, Spam is such a huge issue on the internet...I completely understand where your coming from. We just went to a fully opt in list and it went from 16,000 thousand to like a thousand people. We were sending 16X more crap than anyone wanted! Sales wasn't happy about it but we felt it was the right thing to do. The thing I hate about spam is the business correspondence that gets lost in the sea of spam. I'd be interested to hear some of the better ideas you've seen to handle this at a server level...besides the boycott method...like spews.org which tends to interfere with legitimate email too much for my needs.
