Ping should not work but if you try telnetting to the address you should get a login prompt for my BBS. I need to find out if my ISP suddenly started blocking ports or if it's a configuration problem on my Linux box. Would you mind trying a telnet?
My fear is that it's a blocking issue since I was able to access my system from my mom's house and then my ISP renewed their DHCP server.
