Bit of an understatement? I've always taken it as an offshoot of "that's
a load of crap". Crap in the pants, thus it's absolute pants.

I still haven't quite grasped the multifacted use of "piss". Taking the
piss as in pulling my leg, piss as in beer, etc. Etymology anyone?
