Well - considering things from the keyboard's (too often neglected) point of view a one handed keyboard might be a good idea. It's like shaking hands with a one-armed guy. When you shake hands with a two armed-guy you can safely delude yourself that he uses his hand for things you'd rather not think about. But with a one-armed guy... well, you know exactly where those fingers have been.
