I actually tried this once and got blasted by the lady on the other end of
the phone. The telemarketer answered my questions for about three minutes,
then started yelling and cussing when I wouldn't let her get a word in, and
eventually got her manager on the phone who wanted to know why I wanted all
this information, what was I going to use it for, and why I was asking about
toothpaste anyways. I stayed true to the script, improvised when necessary,
and tied them up for about 15 minutes.

It was a riot.

We've had a similar process active over here for a while, and the companies
that don't comply and call you get fined

As long as they do this, then it should work

If not, just use the Counter Script ;)
