I really tried to like it... and I appreciated a lot of experiments that Ang
Lee tried (the "comic framing" and so forth), but in the end they just
weren't successful (in my opinion).

Many of the effects seemed downright bad (apparently embossing means "gamma
radiation" and a particle dissolve means "thinking really hard").

The story was Okay, I suppose (well, except for the ending), but just wasn't
that engaging as the characters continued to do incredibly stupid things.
In too many cases these incredibly stupid were the only thing moving the
plot along - and I hate it was a character is forced to be an idiot to keep
the action going.

But Quisp is still good.
