I remember hearing that Asimov had once expressed while he was alive that he wouldn't have time to finish his work before he died... As for Henson... I think "the light that burns twice as bright" may be an appropriate cliche, although it rarely applies in real life. :) I have an unusual attitude toward death in general tho... I don't know that I'd call it flippancy, but it's never bothered me. I've never been afraid of dying or of other people dying...
