I am limited in using other browsers. Being in the Govt sector, I am forced to use IE specifically.
Otherwaords I would use Avant >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 06/30/03 02:13PM >>> I would use both of them, they each have been known to miss things the other has gotten. Once they are gone download Mozilla and enable it pop-up blocker. If you just love IE. Download Avant Browser, http://www.avantbrowser.com, it is a shell for IE that allows for tabbed browsing and includes a pop-up-blocker. > -----Original Message----- > From: Josh Remus [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, June 30, 2003 2:06 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: RE: Popups are driving me crazy > > Try adaware or spybot. > > Adaware is at: > http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Randell B Adkins [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Monday, June 30, 2003 2:03 PM > > To: CF-Community > > Subject: Popups are driving me crazy > > > > > > I have tried like H#!! to find out what program was installed > > to cause a zillion and one popups to continue. > > > > It keeps trying to install some of the following: > > SpyLab > > Gator > > Alexa Toolbar > > > > But whatever runs when IE opens, it runs every 5 minutes > > and continues to popup about 5 windows each time. > > > > How can I find out what program it is and remove it?? > > > > TIA! > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 This list and all House of Fusion resources hosted by CFHosting.com.
