It seems so. Now if all the other "candidates" could make some fast decisions,
and line up to support one candidate with a more centrist position, and be smart
enough, for the good of the party, to combine resources at this early stage,
they just might have a chance against the Republican juggernaut.

After all, Bush is openly campaigning already, and spending his time at
fundraisers. His main strategy is spreading the fear campaign of terrorism
which is keeping so many people in lock step with him. He may have a lock on
the fat cats, but I am not so sure about the rest of the country, who may be
tiring of the fear campaign.

The War on Terrorism has not been won, the Saddam regime has been moved into
hiding, but there seems to be more to take his place. Freedom does not yet
ring in Afghanistan or Palestine. His "hands off" policy with regard to
California's energy problems has not won him a lot of friends there either. The
Prescription coverage for Medicare eligible is only a hollow shell, and provides
no real benefits, in fact will end up making the drug companies even more
profitable, and increase the costs to the elderly. Privacy, and civil rights
will again come to the forefront. Oh well, I have but one vote.

just an opinion.
