Rick said: They already do that. No Alcohol after 1:30AM without a 3:00AM license. In order to serve alcohol on Sunday or between 1:30Am and 3:00Am your food sales must be 1/3 your total sales.
I say... Actually, no. They are not specifically stating that my restaurant cannot operate between those hours. They are saying that a product that I provide to whomever wants it in my establishment may not be sold outside of the hours that have been legislated in my area. This does not apply only to restaurants, but to any business that sells alcohol. Alcohol sales are ALREADY regulated in the community, therefore I do have to abide by those regulations. I am not being asked to single out a population of my total clientele. Without the smoking ban, anyone who wishes to may come into my restaurant and, provided that they are within the designated area, light up. NO ONE may walk in while restrictions on the sale of alcohol are in effect and order a beer. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Your ad could be here.
