Pressing F5 refreshes (same as hitting "refresh"), pressing CTRL+f5 forces the browser to ignore the cache and re-download all assets.
You can also permanently set your cache control to "check every time" for new content. (By default it only checks once per session - good for general browsing, poor for heavy development).
