Hi Community! I have an annoyance with IE (5.50, sp2), running in winderz 2k. If I try to load an intranet page, I can usually get the first page, from a new instance (thread?). That is, if I open a new window from the toolbar "e" icon, I can load the first URL i type, reliably. If I click a link on that loaded page, i usually get a timeout error. The workaround is to copy the url for the new page, and paste it into a new window opened from the toolbar "e" icon. The new page loads normally (in seconds). It's an annoyance, except when filling in a form, then it's impossible.
Intranet pages load without issue. If I use another computer on our branch of the network, browsing is not an issue, so I thought it may be something specific to my machine. Did I muck up a setting up (or perhaps did I get some help from Herr Gates?).
