I use win 2 K exclusively at home. Win XP has a much higher overhead. Also
I know I have all the drivers I need, doesn't sound like this is a problem
for you though.

Subject: Time to format

Ok, it's been around 9-12 months since my last format of my machine.
WinXp is running slowly now and refuses to wake up from Suspend or
Hibernation, so it's time to backup data and format. So now the
question is..........Win2k or WinXP. Thoughts on this anyone. The
machine I'm talking about it an IBM thinkpad A31. It came with Win2k
preinstalled, but I formatted and installed WinXP about 6 months after I
got it. I think that Win2k might have run faster on this one, but then
again the slowdown might be because of WinXP's SP1. Thanks for any info.

Marlon
