That's sort of like me. I eat, drink, write and draw with my left hand. I do most other things with my right. If someone offers me something, I will reach with my left hand, even if I end up using it in my right. No one ever tried to make me switch, so I have no explanation for this, other than I am just weird.
I started out using a mouse left handed, but gave on changing the settings every time I wanted to use a computer set up for someone who was right handed. Now I use my mouse with my right hand. I use my joystick with my right hand, only because it's designed for right hand use. I can use either hand comfortably if it's just a plain stick. The first time I went flying for real, I kept trying to use my left hand.
