I am merely quite contemptuous of Bush for things he has done and said.

Moreover, I was not comparing anyone to Stalin, much less George W.
Bush. Try reading what I said instead of having a knee jerk
defensive response. I said

>The only events I think that are comparable are Stalin's support of
>Lamarkian genetics in the 1930's - that resulted in the death of tens
>of thousands in Russia and the Ukraine. Or the more recent support of
>a crackpot AIDS theory by Tambo Mbeke, president of South Africa.

I was showing the consequences of politicizing the scientific
process. I was definitely NOT comparing George W. Bush to Stalin.
Although to me he seems corrupt and his behavior at times is
egregious, he has along way to go before equaling Stalin. I thought I
was being quite clear. Moreover by your reasoning, I was also
comparing him to Mbeke. Given your perception of my politics, that
from me would have been a nice complement. Need to improve one's
reading comprehension a bit no?

I guess things like Slick Willy etc do not count either. Double
standards I guess.
