FYI - This is right where I am (Charleston area). I stayed in all weekend. I have to buy a new cordless phone, but not at the expense of turning into a head shot, a la Unreal Tournament! :-o The victims have been on the other end of town so far. For some strange reason, I am not surprised this is happening. When the Beltway sniper was going around, I don't know how many people told me to watch out (not realizing I lived in West Virginia, not Virginia).
It may interest you that the local news SUCKS around here... I didn't even know about the killing spree until Friday night when someone from GA told me about it! Every time I turned on the local news a few minutes into the newscast, they were not covering it. They were talking about local BBQs and fairs or something going on at a church... what a joke. I have heard more about it from CNN and Fox than the local stations. And check out the terrible coverage on the newspaper websites: http://www.wvgazette.com http://www.dailymail.com Sincerely, Brian Meloche, 4th Floor, ITO - 414 CSS (304) 759-0585 x448 Macromedia Certified Advanced ColdFusion 5.0 Developer 130 pounds lost and counting! >>> [EMAIL PROTECTED] 08/18/03 11:20AM >>> Everyone on this list in WV, please be careful!
