I knew about the debugger templates -- I wrote one that allows me to conditionally
display whatever structures I want to see at the bottom using code within the page,
rather than simply turning on or off various scopes in the application.cfm ... Figured
there was probably a way to do tweak the default error handling template too... Though
I may not know enough about the underlying architecture of the server and the Java
involved to be much use in improving the handful of messages that "lack definition".
By and large I've been pretty happy with the error messages in MX or otherwise -- it
was just -- as a for instance, when sending a message with cfmail in Red Sky it said
something like "an error occurred configuring mail settings" which wasn't very
helfpul. Since I don't know the underlying java behind how cfmail works, there's
probably not much I can do to improve on that on my own, at least not without
investing a lot of time I don't really have. heh. :)
