The problem with reserved days like that is someone like me will inevitably stumble in to the theater on one of those days. I will have paid my ticket and sat down, and then as I look around I would become extremely unnerved by all the wee ones. And by then it's too late. I'm trapped. Surrounded by little bags of snot and germs and noise, all running around, touching things and crying.
*runs away screaming and locks the doors* No offense, but I don't particularly like to be around kids. -Kevin ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Davis" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 10:02 AM Subject: Movies, moms and babies > I've been saying for years (specifically five years as that's how old my > son is) that movies theaters are missing out on some significant > business because new parents often find it hard to get out to the > movies. > > Looks like Loews, at least, has finally realized that: > > http://www.enjoytheshow.com/reelmoms/index.cfm > > I hope this is a start to a trend of family friendly options. > > One example is a club/restaurant (since, sadly, sold to new owners) near > us that every Tuesday and Wednesday (slow nights for them) would bring > out a few totes of old toys and play-house stuff and set it up on their > small stage.
