RR is currently blocking outbound port 25, as well as blocking inbound email
that fails a reverse DNS lookup.
Most third party mail servers will fail, as they are usually overridd3n by their
provider's reverse DNS lookup.

As a result, your inbound mail cannot be received at your RR account unless it
comes from a major ISP. Independent mail servers, while they may well comply
with all RFCs are blocked by RR now.

This is costing them a ton of customers.

We have a notice posted about RoadRunner on the index page of our group web site
at http://samcfug.org.
None of our members can receive mail list mail from our group server, nor can
they send outbound mail using their user group email address, if they are on a
RoadRunner connection.

Recommendation: Change providers, if possible.

| I'm sure there are a few RR users here. Can anyone confirm with that RR
| now requires all customers to use their SMTP server to send mail? Are
| they blocking all 3rd party SMTP servers?
