RR is currently blocking outbound port 25, as well as blocking inbound email that fails a reverse DNS lookup. Most third party mail servers will fail, as they are usually overridd3n by their provider's reverse DNS lookup.
As a result, your inbound mail cannot be received at your RR account unless it comes from a major ISP. Independent mail servers, while they may well comply with all RFCs are blocked by RR now. This is costing them a ton of customers. We have a notice posted about RoadRunner on the index page of our group web site at http://samcfug.org. None of our members can receive mail list mail from our group server, nor can they send outbound mail using their user group email address, if they are on a RoadRunner connection. Recommendation: Change providers, if possible. SBC Yahoo! DSL - Offers as low as $29.95/month < ====================================== Stop spam on your domain, use our gateway!
