Hi Dana, here is what I would recommend. Go into Windows Media Player to Tools, Options, File Types and check mp3. Then click on View, Explorer Bar, Media in Internet Explorer. Under Media options at the bottom of the Media Explorer pane, click on Settings, Reset Preferred Types, Yes.
They should then be able to browse to the page with a simple link to the file and click on it and have it open in the left pane and play. Easier than a bunch of programming I'd say!
