First Union refused to lower my rate about 3 years ago. I told them if they
didn't lower it, I was going to switch. They told me there wasn't anything
they could do for me. So, I went to another bank, told them what I was
doing, and got a card with the same limit at a rate that was about 4% less.
I called FU back and told them to cancel the card and I told them why I was
doing it.

I haven't had many good experiences with FU anyway, so I really didn't feel
like I was being a jerk about it.
