carbohydrates rating on the glycemic index...where pure glucose is at
100 (baseline). The higher the food is on the glycemic index, the faster
it enteres your blood stream which leads to a whole bunch of
issues...especially long term. Mark my words...in a few years the
marketing on products will not be low fat...they'll have a big shiny
star on the front of the box that is an overall glycemic rating for food
ABC and XYZ.
As for ADHD drugs. Ritalin has the EXACT same effect on the brain as
cocaine. In fact there are issues of kids re-selling Ritalin for
inhalation.
