I would be inclined to think Microsoft is going to win this on appeal.

Ray Ozzie, the guy who was behind Lotus Notes and Groove, built a pretty
significant piece of prior art using Lotus Notes and Excel. This was

My guess is, after reading about his work, the Eolas will not be upheld.
