Good for him.  It takes guts to admit to this as plainly and openly as
he did, especially after years of poisonous condemnations of drug
addicts.  He deserves the opportunity to kick this with the support of
anyone who's been through this or knows anyone who's been through this,
and I hope he'll get to know - first hand - the diverse community of
people who have been horribly affected by drug and alcohol addiction and
that he returns to his show with some degree of humility and
understanding after this.  Maybe even realize the incredible toll the
demonization of drug addiction has taken on this country.

Who knows?  I wish the bastard the best of luck.
