I guess you can follow the like of O'Reilly, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh (oops, he
is in drug rehab, hoping to avoid prosecution for buying illegal drugs) as long
as you both consider the source, and realize that the agenda is entertainment,
as opposed to advancing any particular position. These types appeal to the
folks that yearn for "The way it used to be" where controversy, differing
beliefs and lifestyles were swept under the rug and not spoken of in public.
I personally have issues with all of the news organizations from an accuracy
point of vies, I guess probably the worst of the lot is CNN, but Fox News is
right up there among them.
Does anyone remember when BUSH announced his push to meet propaganda with
propaganda?
The old saying of "Follow the Money." still holds very true when analyzing the
agendas of these various personalities. I am particularly entertained by
O'Reilly when speaking with someone with an opposing view, is quickly cut off
with the comment, "I run this show, not you!" But in the end I relegate him to
the group who, in response to criticism of the shrup administration, is the
revert to Clinton's sex life, as the act so abhorrent that the rape of the
American people can be justified.
Another big lie that he advances along with other propagandists is the
statements that the US economy is doing well, and in growing at a satisfactory
rate, when in fact, were any analyst discount the incredible defense
expenditures, the actual economy is still shrinking, jobs are permanently being
lost, retirement funds are being diluted, and the middle class carries most of
the tax burden. You will not see any of the talking heads mentioning this.
Fair and Balanced? I don't think so. But who am I?
