Is this on an Intranet?  If so, you'll want to add your website to the browsers "Intranet Zone".  By default IE is set to automatically pass the username/password of the currently logged on user to sites in the Intranet Zone.  You'll also have to disable "Allow Anonymous" on the website permissions and add the "Domain Users" group with read only rights to the entire site.  If this is not set, it's a pretty simple registry hack that can be done run at logon to change (or via SMS).

We use this methodology for our intranet.  If you need more help let me know.

  hi gang,

OK, I know how to code security within CF.

But I can't seem to find if/how you can grab the Windows 2000 userid from the client pc from within CF (4.5.1 SP2).

  ??

  Thanks.
