"fair and balanced" myth.
I still remember clapping my hands when the wrestler busted both his ear drums!

Subject: Need some dirt on Fox News
| I was listening to a discussion at lunch where one person claimed that CNN is
completely biased and are guilty of lying and cannot be trusted.
|
| (Peter Arnot was given as the example).
|
| Fox News was held up as the paragon of News Virtue. Completely unbiased, and
have never been guilty of getting a story wrong even on accident, and certainly
not on purpose to forward an agenda (since they don't have an agenda).
|
| (This is a slight exaggeration, but not by much)
|
| Besides Giraldo (who has been accused of lying on the air about what he saw
and where he was), can anyone give me actual concrete examples of Fox getting a
story wrong?
|
| (Also leave out Fox's coverage of the entire Iraq/Bush thing, since tat won't
be allowed in any argument)
|
| Thanks for any help.
| Jerry Johnson
