We're scoring on the content of a message, not on it's poster. If someone
comes up and is an ass but posts good content, I expect people to score it
on the content. If he's an ass for the sake of being an ass (there are
those), then the score will reflect it. I don't expect every post from a
person to be listed the same way.
If it does get petty, I'll step in.
Basically the system is down to this:
1. scoring from 1-5 based on the technical merit of a post (different
criteria for CF-Community)
2. list of key words added by posters for threads. If a post is on XML, then
someone can add a keyword to it of XML. If it covers RSS as well but the
first reporter didn't mention that, then RSS can be added as a key word.
End result is more information and an easier way for people to get that
information.
