Well, if anyone's interested :)

My suggestion was to take the complex type (a struct), convert it to
WDDX, serialize it, pass it via SOAP as a string, deserialize it in the
application, and they should be able to use the structure effectively by
working in the WDDX VB API (at least) and creating a readable datatype
for their application.
