or are you doing
textBox_txt.text = "<a>Link</a>"
It should be the first.
Also, make sure the textbox has the <> symbol enabled on the properties panel.

hey guys I'm trying to embed some HTML into a flash movie but it shows the actual text instead of parsing the HTML. I even check it to "Render Text as HTML"
