had a few frost warnings. Amy told me that Southern Ontario is back to
about 18c this week but just gray and ucky.

strange but true -
in the SF area, a few days ago it was in the 90's in some of the
suburbs. today, there has been pouring rain, some hail, some
thunderstorms, even SNOW in parts of Marin and Contra Costa counties -
absolutely unheard of in October, even rare in mid-winter. I-80 over
Donner in the mountains is closed due to snow. Huh??
