I was disappointed really.

It proved what I thought, that the second part was full of philosophical
mumbo jumbo to make the entire story seem complex, when it really isn't.

For me, there were no standout action sequences in this one at all.

Anyone that spent time philosphising and theorising about the 'meaning'
of it all after seeing the second matrix will probably be disappointed.

Because I don't find the reality to be that deep ;-)

The new Matrix ruled.

Lots of explosions, the inherent symbolism took a backseat to the
action, the fight scenes were far from unique but certainly amazing, and
Hugo Weaving was so evil he didn't seem human.

Wow.
