You have an extremely expressive way of writing which lends character to
your thoughts, and I feel you should not take such criticisms seriously.
Ben is from California and has valuable stocks, which make him
prejudiced against everyone who has to live in the real world of the
East Coast or get by without receiving massive dividends to pay a staff
of servants or the mortgage on a personal citrus plantation. He also
studied at Berkeley, which makes him a soulless, pet-eating monster and
threat to our national security.
His grammatical zealotry should be seen in light of his circumstances
and desire to maintain the status quo at all costs.
