I don't have a high opinion of New Horizons. The few classes I took with
them were sketchy at best. And then there was the time they asked me to
teach for them.

At a previous job, I got a call from a New Horizons person asking to talk to
a designer who had left a year and a half prior. The designer had been a
PageMaker instructor for them. New Horizons had scheduled a class in the
area for the next day and had assigned him to be the instructor. They hadn't
checked to see if he was available or anything, they just set up the class
and expected to call the day before. But as I said, he hadn't even worked
with us anymore for a long time. So panicked, the scheduler asked me, "will
you teach the course?" I laughed and hung up. They obviously didn't care who
the instructor was or what the qualifications were.
