you are normally not liable when you can look at someone and say
"hey man, it could've been worse...........
it could've happened to me.."
Seriously, get proper legal advice. I studied Englsih contract law and
basic liability for a year, trust me its an absolute minefield. You need
advice from someone who knows the ins and outs of liability in relation to
data protection.
