Is your plan to grow to be more then a mom
and pop shop or are you happy with just the 2 of you and keeping it in
that style of business?
I'm curious to your plans for the business if you want to stay mom & pop
or grow or whatever outside of the whole issue of what ifs

Do you mean forget this whole plan and figure it out in the year 2025?
no, it's needs to be taken care of now. this isn't abouot our plan to
grow bigger or stay the same, it's about how we handle the unknown
tomorrow.
Employees or no employees (and we have several people involved with the
company already) there needs to be a separate contigency plan. The
continuing business efforts of our resellers require it.
Whether we stay "mom & pop" or grow into something bigger is not the
issue. Both kinds of businesses should have "exit strategies" to use
Jochem's reply. It just makes good business sense.
We will be drafting something up with a few people and the company that
manages the servers. It makes the most sense.

Why not reserve judgement until you have some employees and put in the
company charter or your will or whatever that in the event of your
deaths you will give the employees a chance to purchase the company
assests or whatever *Shrugs* give your employees a chance to handle it.
And then your company will carry on like any traditional company that is
more then a mom and pop shop. Is your plan to grow to be more then a mom
