There is such a thing as health insurance ya know. Yeah, you might have
to pay for it, and no, it's not ALL outrageous these days, there's some
incredibly low priced DECENT coverage available now.


When I was living in England, as Phil's spouse I was able to get health
care for nothing, BUT I had to wait for anything more important than a
blood test. Also, I never trusted their judgement on my thyroid levels,
though the doctor there did take very good care of me regarding my BC
pills.


The 6 month wait though for ANYTHING out of the ordinary, like my sinus
pain, Phil's "maybe" sleep apnea, a vasectomy, hip pain, etc ....
anything like that ... and you wait and wait and wait UNLESS you have
PAID for private health insurance, YES, they have it over there, in
which case you're wait might not be as long.


I'll stick to the US coverage. It's not that unreasonable anymore and at
least I know I can schedule a sinus scope next week if I needed to. Of
course, YMMV.
