It's not that early - it was below 0 (Celsius) in Chicago last night,
and that's before factoring in a 30-mph wind chill.  I had to walk 3
blocks from the Ogilve Center to Union Station and almost froze my ears
off.  Nothing too out of the ordinary, though.  Then again, the onset of
winter (even if it is a month early, as usual) has never bothered me -
it's when it's still snowing in April that I get a little put out.
