different.
What I would like to see is that all of your display files use layout.cfm,
that would make things easier. Right now I have to work with doctypes and
other items in 3 areas. (I also had to change the addcomments and editors to
not pop up a window for them) since that isn't really accessible.
Not a chop. I like the blog and getting it working in 5-6 hours was
certainly a lot better than my writing one from scratch. Its just since I
am preaching accessibility and web standards, I have to walk the walk.

Right, but the only files that have logic are addcomment.cfm, edit.cfm,
login.cfm, and index.cfm, and each of them only have a small amount of
logic.
My point is - while the layout as a whole did not work for you, _changing_
the layout should not be that difficult, at least that is what I'm striving
for. I know in your case you were not happy with pretty much 100% of the
layout, but to me, my only concern is to make it easy for you to change. I
accept that the default layout is just that, a default look and feel. Make
sense? Sorry if I'm being defensive here, but I see it as two issues: How
good is the default layout (which I don't really care too much about) and
how easy it is to update the layout (which I _do_ care about).
