Actually beaver is quite delicious and of course caribou. You should try it!

Ferrets are carnivores. They have been domesticated much longer than the
cat. The ancient Greeks had several plays centered on the ferret, the only
animal to be a central character. In the original Greek, Aesop frequently
used ferrets instead of the modern translations using cats or foxes.
They are related to minks, polecats, wolverines and otters.
Hmmm...good eat'in!
