Beaver is nasty, gamey, stringy stuff.  Caribou is yummy.
Blubber is the second most disgusting food i ever ate.
The first was one of these: http://www.mbayaq.org/efc/living_species/default.asp?hOri=1&inhab=481

Careful. Its too nice of a day. Besides have you Canadians had your holiday
blubber and seal yet in your igloos?

Actually beaver is quite delicious and of course caribou. You should try it!

(I figure I can get away with saying that given that I'm from Canada as well.)

Ferrets are carnivores. They have been domesticated much longer than the
cat. The ancient Greeks had several plays centered on the ferret, the only
animal to be a central character. In the original Greek, Aesop frequently
used ferrets instead of the modern translations using cats or foxes.

They are related to minks, polecats, wolverines and otters.

  Hmmm...good eat'in!

  For more information see http://www.ferretcentral.org.
