You'd have to investigate using some kind of fax handling service on the
recipient computer (the one connected to the phone line).  They do exist
(used one at my last place of employ) but as for a price range or setup I
haven't the foggiest.

Hey guys, i dont want to use a service like eFax where they give u a new fax
number to use, because that means our clients wil have to change their
contacts.  Is there a way to set up a PC with a faxmodem or whatever and use
software to filter and convert incoming fax?  thanks
