I thought that John Goodman played the part of a conservative congressman
very well.  I haven't been watching as much as I used to, but I think it is
probably one of the best shows on TV right now.  While I may not agree with
many policies set by "Jed Bartlett", the educational value of the show
(history, politics) are worth my paying attention alone.

But then again I watch the history channel more than any other.  So we see
where my interests lie.

Well I never got to see the west wing much it always has and still does
collide with other shows I like to watch more. But after hearing how you
guys talked about how good it is I saw bravo ran a 2 day marathon for
the 1st season and it was nice. Watched most of it and then went out and
got the 1st season on DVD. An excellent show but I am sad to say it will
be hard to watch new episodes now with rob Lowe gone he is really a good
part of the show IMHO.

Though I saw part of a new show awhile ago and seeing john Goodman
turned me off to watching it I was waiting for him to break out with a
loud ROSEANNE!!!.
hehe.
